mit nvidia-settings bekomme ich es nicht hin, das die Monitorauflösung dauerhaft eingestellt bleibt. Nach jedem Neustart, ist immer die alte Auflösung eingestellt. Nvidia-settings habe ich als root und auch user probiert.
Ich muss dazu sagen, das ich mir einen neuen Monitor zu gelegt habe mit einer höheren Auflösung von 2560 x 1440. Der alte hatte eine Auflösung von 1920 x 1080. Verbaut ist bei mir eine Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti mit der Treiberversion 515.65.01.
